Different fashion designers have their own unique styles. Therefore, brands have their own styles and uniqueness. None of the brands out there overlap with the items they produce. This is because different brands are producing clothes for different purposes and the age groups. In addition, the ideas coming out of designers are all different, and this is why the fashion industry continues to develop because of the new ideas and products each brand makes.
I especially like Balenciaga because of its unique brand identity. Balenciaga is unique because of its fresh approach to fashion design. Utilizing abstract architectural shapes, Balenciaga became an expert in manipulating fabrics to create forms which abstracted the body and totally eliminated the waist. We have never seen puffy jackets with vibrant colors like hot pink in the other designer brands. Balenciaga also started the ugly shoe (Triple S) and socks sneaker (Speedrunners) a few years ago. Since then other brands started to get influenced by Balenciaga to produce similar products with their own unique identity of the brand. For example, they have created a bag inspired by a shopping bag. We can also see that Balenciaga uses its logo as one of the main designs.

세상엔 정말 많은 패션 디자이너들과 브랜드가 있습니다. 각각의 브랜드가 중점을 두는 디자인도, 고객층도 다르기 때문이겠죠. 게다가 여러 패션 디자이너들이 자신의 독특한 생각과 디자인을 매년 만들어 내기 때문에, 패션의 세계는 그 어떤 세계 보다도 다양하고 아름답습니다.
저는 패션에 관심을 가진 학생으로서, 특히 발렌시아가를 좋아합니다. 추상화를 옷을 디자인하는데 사용해서, 발렌시아가가 디자인한 옷을 입었을 때 사람 자체가 추상화처럼 보이는, 어떨 때는 허리가 아예 없어 보인다든가 하는, 이런 것들이 너무 멋있습니다. 사람이 발렌시아가 옷을 입으면 그 자체가 예술작품이 되는 효과가 생긴다고 할까요.
가장 최근, 발렌시아가의 혁신적인 디자인으로 여겨지는 작품들은 어글리 슈 (Triple S)와 Socks Sneaker (Speedrunners)였습니다. 이 새롭고 신선한 디자인은 아주 큰 인기를 끌어서, 발렌시아가 디자인에 많은 디자이너들이 영향을 받았습니다. 쇼핑백에서 영감을 받아 백을 만들기도 하고, 기존 디자이너들의 패션 디자인에 대해 좁은 생각에서 벗어난 많은 시도를 하고 있습니다.
