As of today, April 22, 2021, more than 950 million vaccine doses have been administered worldwide. Unfortunately, there is a clear gap between countries with greater access to vaccinations and those with less access to vaccinations.
As this map from Vaccinations data from local government via Our World in Data indicates, countries like the United States, U.K., and Israel are carrying out vaccinations nationwide whereas some countries have not been able to report even a single dose of vaccination.
Most countries are eager to increase in the speed of vaccinations, but the pharmaceutical companies with vaccinations are putting it as their first priority to provide vaccinations r their own government/national needs, so this shortage in vaccination is expected to continue.

2021년 4월 22일 현재, 전 세계적으로 9억 5천만 이상의 코로나 백신이 투여되었습니다. 하지만 불행하게도 백신을 보유한 국가들과 그렇지 못한 국가들 사이에 큰 차이/불평등이 있는 상황입니다. 국제 데이터 기관인 Our Word in Data에 따르면(지도를 참고하세요, 전 세계 국가들 중 미국, 영국, 이스라엘과 같은 몇 개 국가에서만 국민의 50%이상이 첫 코로나 백신 접종을 마친 상태이고, 대부분의 국가들 에서는 10프로도 안되는, 심지어 단 한번의 코로나 신 접종도 이루어지지 않은 나라도 있는 상황입니다.
대부분의 국가들이 국민들의 코로나 백신 접종 속도를 올려보려 노력하고 있지만, 현재 백신기술을 가지고 있는 제약회사들이 자기 나라 국민에게 코로나 백신 접종을 먼저 하는 것을 최우선하고 있어 당분간 세계적으로 백신이 부족할 것으로 예상됩니다.
